Kate Moss' waif-like image has propelled her long and lucrative career as a supermodel and fashion icon. Though rail-thin and short by early '90s standards (think Cindy Crawford), the London-born Moss vaulted to fame in Calvin Klein campaigns. Her own style choices – denim cutoffs, skinny jeans, waist-cinching belts – launched trends, too.
In 2005, it seemed Moss' career was over when the Daily Mirror published photos of Moss allegedly snorting cocaine. The supermodel temporarily lost major clients. But her career held up as she launched her own fashion line for Topshop and was named one of Time magazine's Most Influential People for having "the face that has never gone out of style."
