Long known as the kid sister of troubled pop star Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn made surprising headlines of her own when she announced her pregnancy at age 16 in late 2007.

The youngest Spears stepped out on her own in 2002 as a cast member of Nickelodeon's All That. After becoming a fan favorite – like former All That stars Amanda Bynes and Nick Cannon – the then 13-year-old got her own series, Zoey 101, which became the second highest-rated show among tweens, after TV juggernaut American Idol.

While Jamie Lynn dealt with the aftershock of her announcement and questionable future at Nickelodeon, Britney managed to overshadow her sister when she was hospitalized in the middle of her custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline. With her own baby due next summer, Jamie Lynn moved to her native Louisiana with mother Lynne, and became engaged to her baby’s father, 18-year-old Casey Aldridge.
