By age 26, Usher sold more than 25 million albums worldwide, won five Grammy awards, headlined a 64-city tour that earned him more than $20 million, and dated TLC's Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas and supermodel Naomi Campbell.

After appearing on Star Search, the 13-year-old signed with LaFace Records, where he was mentored by Sean ''Diddy'' Combs and Jermaine Dupri. He lit the world of R&B and pop up with his megawatt smile, six-pack abs, smooth vocals and slick dance moves. With such hits as "Burn," "Confessions" and "Yeah!" Usher became the third artist ever to have three singles simultaneously on Billboard's Top 10.

In 2007, he made headlines for his stop-and-go nuptials with former stylist-turned wife Tameka Foster. That November, the newlyweds welcomed their first child together – a boy they named Usher Raymond V.
